Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.

They will say of Me,‘ Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’ People will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.

Now then, when He said to them,“ I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

When my enemies turn back, They stumble and perish before You.

and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” And He said,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.”

And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.But the word of the Lord continued to grow and to be multiplied.

Let me not be put to shame, Lord, for I call upon You; Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.Let the lying lips be speechless, Which speak arrogantly against the righteous With pride and contempt.

May those who seek my life Be put to shame and humiliated; May those who delight in my harm Be turned back and dishonored.May those who say,“ Aha, aha!” be turned back Because of their shame.

But when the vine growers saw the son, they said among themselves,‘ This is the heir; come, let’s kill him and take possession of his inheritance!’And they took him and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine growers?”They* said to Him,“ He will bring those wretches to a wretched end and lease the vineyard to other vine growers, who will pay him the fruit in the proper seasons.”
