But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous.

惟彼敵人勇毅強悍、憾予者眾、出於無因兮、

我之仇敵存活興盛、無故怨恨我者眾多、

願承平生罪。翼翼自小心。

Many have become my enemies without cause; those who hate me without reason are numerous.

Though I have done nothing to cause it, many people have become my enemies. They hate me without any reason.

But my foes are vigorous, they are mighty, and many are those who hate me wrongfully.

I have many aggressive enemies; they hate me without reason.

But my enemies are vigorous and powerful; many hate me for no reason.

But my enemies are vigorous and strong, And those who wrongfully hate me are many.

Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.

If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.Remember the word that I said to you:‘ A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.But they will do all these things to you for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me.If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.He who hates me, hates my Father also.If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law,‘ They hated me without a cause.’

Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.

Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.

Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, Yahweh.

who by the mouth of your servant, David, said,‘ Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take council together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’“ For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed,to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.

You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.
