Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the person whose lawless acts are forgiven. Their sins have been taken away.

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!

How joyful is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!

You took away Your people’s guilt; You covered all their sin. Selah

I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

Who is a God like You, removing iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of His inheritance? “ Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will be like wool.

The man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence indeed is the Lord, is blessed.He will be like a tree planted by water: it sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.

How happy is the man who has put his trust in the Lord and has not turned to the proud or to those who run after lies!

How happy are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

“ The poor in spirit are blessed, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.Those who mourn are blessed, for they will be comforted.The gentle are blessed, for they will inherit the earth.Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed, for they will be filled.The merciful are blessed, for they will be shown mercy.The pure in heart are blessed, for they will see God.The peacemakers are blessed, for they will be called sons of God.Those who are persecuted for righteousness are blessed, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.“ You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me.Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, God.

How happy are those whose way is blameless, who live according to the Lord’s instruction!Happy are those who keep His decrees and seek Him with all their heart.

How happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways!

The fool says in his heart,“ God does not exist.” They are corrupt, and they do vile deeds. There is no one who does good.

He said,“ Even more, those who hear the word of God and keep it are blessed!”

How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners or join a group of mockers!Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.

Happy is the person who trusts in You, Lord of Hosts!

Why brag about evil, you hero! God’s faithful love is constant.

Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; Yahweh, they walk in the light of Your presence.

And Jesus responded,“ Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven.

My heart is moved by a noble theme as I recite my verses to the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

God, listen to my prayer and do not ignore my plea for help.

Do not cover their guilt or let their sin be erased from Your sight, because they have provoked the builders.
