誑言之口、逞驕慢、出狂言、攻擊善人、惟願此口緘默無聲、

莫令我觖望。應使彼吞聲。惡計既受挫。默默歸幽冥。

Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.

Their lips tell lies. Let them be silenced. They speak with pride against those who do right. They make fun of them.

Let the lying lips be mute, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.

Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly.

Let lying lips that arrogantly speak against the righteous in proud contempt be silenced.

Let the lying lips be speechless, Which speak arrogantly against the righteous With pride and contempt.

Let the lying lips be put to silence, Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Let the lying lips be dumb, Which speak against the righteous insolently, With pride and contempt.

Let lying lips be quieted; they speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt.

May lying lips be silenced– lips that speak defiantly against the innocent with arrogance and contempt!

Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.

To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard[ speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

[ How long] shall they utter[ and] speak hard things?[ and] all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let[ not] arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD[ is] a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

But when the Pharisees heard[ it], they said, This[ fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue[ that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This[ is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness[ is] of me, saith the LORD.

For without[ are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Ye are of[ your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease,[ and] with the contempt of the proud.

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more[ shall they call] them of his household?

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips,[ and] the tongue that speaketh proud things:

[ As for] the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow[ him].

Who whet their tongue like a sword,[ and] bend[ their bows to shoot] their arrows,[ even] bitter words:That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

And his servants spake yet[ more] against the LORD God, and against his servant Hezekiah.

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips,[ and] from a deceitful tongue.

But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue[ is] but for a moment.

This[ is] the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee,[ and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted[ thy] voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high?[ even] against the Holy One of Israel.By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof,[ and] the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border,[ and] the forest of his Carmel.

[ For] the sin of their mouth[ and] the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying[ which] they speak.
