I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.

I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

Lord, I will give you honor. You brought me out of deep trouble. You didn’t give my enemies the joy of seeing me die.

I will extol you, O Lord, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me.

I will exalt you, Lord, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me.

I will exalt you, LORD, because you have lifted me up and have not allowed my enemies to triumph over me.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

Then David returned to bless his household. Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said,“ How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of his servants’ maids, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

David built an altar to Yahweh there, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So Yahweh was entreated for the land, and the plague was removed from Israel.

Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.

the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but God’s ark dwells within curtains.”

The officers shall speak to the people, saying,“ What man is there who has built a new house, and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

Vindicate me, Yahweh my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.Don’t let them say in their heart,“ Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.

We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and derision to those who are around us.
