The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perversity of the treacherous destroys them.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; he repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not turned from my God to wickedness.Indeed, I let all his ordinances guide me and have not disregarded his statutes.I was blameless toward him and kept myself from my iniquity.So the LORD repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

The LORD will repay every man for his righteousness and his loyalty. I wasn’t willing to lift my hand against the LORD’s anointed, even though the LORD handed you over to me today.

Paul replied,“ I am standing at Caesar’s tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as even you yourself know very well.If then I did anything wrong and am deserving of death, I am not trying to escape death; but if there is nothing to what these men accuse me of, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar!”

The LORD judges the peoples; vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity.

But I live with integrity; redeem me and be gracious to me.

Vindicate me, LORD, because I have lived with integrity and have trusted in the LORD without wavering.

Look, my father! Look at the corner of your robe in my hand, for I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. Recognize that I’ve committed no crime or rebellion. I haven’t sinned against you even though you are hunting me down to take my life.“ May the LORD judge between me and you, and may the LORD take vengeance on you for me, but my hand will never be against you.As the old proverb says,‘ Wickedness comes from wicked people.’ My hand will never be against you.

A righteous person acts with integrity; his children who come after him will be happy.

I always strive to have a clear conscience toward God and men.

My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths; and they haven’t harmed me, for I was found innocent before him. And also before you, Your Majesty, I have not done harm.”
