願凡虔敬之人兮。播揚仁風。願雅谷之苗裔兮。聖道是弘。願義塞之子孫兮。惟主是崇。

For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

He has not forgotten the one who is hurting. He has not turned away from his suffering. He has not turned his face away from him. He has listened to his cry for help.

基督在他肉身的日子裡，曾經用強烈的呼號和淚水，向能救他脫離死亡的那一位獻上了祈禱和懇求，就因著他的虔誠蒙了垂聽。

我把我的背脊轉給擊打我的人，把我的臉頰轉給扯我鬍鬚的人；我沒有掩面躲避羞辱和唾沫。因為主耶和華幫助我，所以我不受羞辱，因此我使我的臉堅毅如石；我知道我必不致蒙羞。稱我為義的那一位，與我相近；誰敢與我爭訟，就讓我們一同站起！誰是控告我的，就讓他近前來！看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我的罪呢？看哪！他們都必像衣服那樣漸漸破舊；蛀蟲必咬噬他們。

我在苦楚中呼求耶和華；耶和華回應了我，把我安置在寬闊之地。

死亡的繩索纏繞我，陰間的苦楚臨到我；我遭遇患難和悲哀的事。那時我呼求耶和華的名：「哦，耶和華啊，求你救我的靈魂！」耶和華有恩惠、有公義，我們的神大有憐憫。耶和華保守無知的人，我衰微時，他就拯救我。

我的神哪，我白天呼求，你不回應；我在夜間也得不到安寧！

至於我，我困苦傷痛；神哪，願你的救恩將我安置在高處！我要用詩歌讚美神的名，以感謝來尊他為大；這會使耶和華喜悅，勝過獻上公牛，勝過獻上有角有蹄的公牛犢。卑微人看見就歡喜，求問神的人哪，願你們的心得以存活！因為耶和華垂聽貧窮人，不輕視他被囚的子民。願諸天和大地、海洋和其中游動的一切，都讚美他！

但我是蟲，不是人；我遭人辱罵，被民眾輕視。

我這困苦人呼求，耶和華就垂聽，拯救我脫離一切的患難。

耶穌大聲呼喚：「父啊，我把我的靈魂交託在你手中。」說完這話，就斷了氣。

我全身的骨頭都要說：「耶和華啊，誰能像你呢？你解救困苦人脫離那些比他強大的；解救困苦人和貧窮人脫離那些搶奪他的。」

不要向你的僕人隱藏你的臉，因為我在危難中；求你快快回應我！
