幽冥之索綯重重。死地之羅網紛紛。

耶和華的眼睛看顧義人，祂的耳朵垂聽他們的呼求。

「我在苦難中呼求耶和華，向我的上帝求助，祂從殿中垂聽我的呼求，我的聲音達到祂耳中。

彼得被囚期間，教會都迫切地為他向上帝禱告。

我求告當受頌讚的耶和華，祂救我脫離仇敵。死亡的鎖鏈曾纏住我，罪惡的狂流曾淹沒我。

利未祭司起來為民眾祝福，他們的禱告得蒙垂聽，達到天上的聖所。

我曾向耶和華求一件事，我還要求，就是能一生住在祂的殿中，瞻仰祂的榮美，尋求祂的旨意。危難之時，祂保護我，把我藏在祂的聖幕裡，高高地安置在磐石上。

但耶和華住在祂的聖殿中，世人都要在祂面前肅靜。」

我在患難中向耶和華禱告，祂就應允了我。

耶和華啊！我在絕望的深淵中向你呼求。主啊，求你垂聽我的呼求，側耳聽我的祈求。

耶和華在祂的聖殿裡，坐在天上的寶座上，放眼巡視，察看世人。

因為你有無限的慈愛，我要進入你的居所，我要滿懷敬畏地向你的聖殿下拜。

過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人受盡奴役，就哀歎呼求，聲音傳到上帝那裡。

「然而，上帝啊，你真的會住在人間嗎？看啊，諸天尚且不夠你居住，更何況我建造的這殿呢？可是，我的上帝耶和華啊，求你垂顧你僕人的禱告和祈求，垂聽你僕人今天在你面前的呼求和祈禱。願你晝夜看顧這殿——你應許立你名的地方！你僕人向著這地方禱告的時候，求你垂聽。你僕人和你的以色列子民向這地方祈禱的時候，求你從你天上的居所垂聽，赦免我們的罪。

祂說：「阿爸，父啊，你無所不能，求你撤去此杯。然而，願你的旨意成就，而非我的意願。」

那時，天上上帝的聖殿敞開了，殿內的約櫃清晰可見，又有閃電、巨響、雷鳴、地震和大冰雹。
