Though evil people tried to pay me to do wrong, I have not done what they wanted. Instead I have done what you commanded.

論到人的行為，我藉著你嘴上的話語，保守自己不走凶惡者的路。

至於人事、我遵爾言、以自戒慎、不循強暴之軌兮、

世多強暴、余從爾令、彼人所為、不效其行、

論及世人之行為、我以主口所出之訓言、自謹自慎、不行強暴人之道途、

耿耿懷主訓。習俗非所尚。驕人行殘暴。何曾敢傚倣。

Though people tried to bribe me, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent through what your lips have commanded.

With regard to the works of man, by the word of your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.

I have followed your commands, which keep me from following cruel and evil people.

Concerning what people do: by the words from your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.

As for the works of mankind, by the word of Your lips I have kept from the ways of the violent.

Concerning the works of men, By the word of Your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.

As for the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.

Concerning what people do: by the word of Your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.

As for the actions of people– just as you have commanded, I have not followed in the footsteps of violent men.

As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.

Be watchful and control yourselves. Your enemy the devil is like a roaring lion. He prowls around looking for someone to swallow up.

How can a young person keep their life pure? By living according to your word.I trust in you with all my heart. Don’t let me wander away from your commands.I have hidden your word in my heart so that I won’t sin against you.

Use the truth to make them holy. Your word is truth.

You are still following the ways of the world. Some of you are jealous. Some of you argue. So aren’t you following the ways of the world? Aren’t you acting like ordinary human beings?

Your heart will become wise. Your mind will delight in knowledge.Good sense will keep you safe. Understanding will guard you.Wisdom will save you from the ways of evil men. It will save you from men who twist their words.Men like that have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways.They take delight in doing what is wrong. They take joy in twisting everything around.Their paths are crooked. Their ways are not straight.

They had victory over him by the blood the Lamb spilled for them. They had victory over him by speaking the truth about Jesus to others. They were willing to risk their lives, even if it led to death.

Put on the helmet of salvation. And take the sword of the Holy Spirit. The sword is God’s word.

Foolish people say in their hearts,“ There is no God.” They do all kinds of horrible and evil things. No one does anything good.The Lord looks down from heaven on all people. He wants to see if there are any who understand. He wants to see if there are any who trust in God.All of them have turned away. They have all become evil. No one does anything good, no one at all.

Jesus answered him,“ It is also written,‘ Do not test the Lord your God.’ ”( Deuteronomy 6:16)

Jesus answered,“ It is written,‘ Man must not live only on bread. He must also live on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”( Deuteronomy 8:3)

God chose to give us new birth through the message of truth. He wanted us to be the first harvest of his new creation.

Jesus said to him,“ Get away from me, Satan! It is written,‘ Worship the Lord your God. He is the only one you should serve.’ ”( Deuteronomy 6:13)

So he’ll certainly find fault with human beings. After all, they are evil and sinful. They drink up evil as if it were water.

The earth was very sinful in God’s eyes. It was full of people who did mean and harmful things.

The Lord saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things.

Their king was the angel of the Abyss. In the Hebrew language his name is Abaddon. In Greek it is Apollyon. His name means Destroyer.

I didn’t hide my sin as other people do. I didn’t hide my guilt in my heart.

As a result, they don’t live the rest of their earthly life for evil human desires. Instead, they live to do what God wants.You have spent enough time in the past doing what ungodly people choose to do. You lived a wild life. You longed for evil things. You got drunk. You went to wild parties. You worshiped statues of gods, which the Lord hates.
