予心欣喜、載歡載忭、惟我此身、歸土有望、

因此我心歡欣、我靈我靈或作我體之榮喜樂、我身軀亦享安康、

魂安魄亦舒。

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,

So my heart is glad. Joy is on my tongue. My body also will be secure.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.

Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

You have put joy in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine are abundant.In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety.

My heart is steadfast, God; I will sing, I will sing praises also with my soul.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.

The wicked is thrust down by his own wrongdoing, But the righteous has a refuge when he dies.

So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!And the tongue is a fire, the very world of unrighteousness; the tongue is set among our body’s parts as that which defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell.For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race.But no one among mankind can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people, who have been made in the likeness of God;

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.

If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my struggle I will wait Until my relief comes.You will call, and I will answer You; You will long for the work of Your hands.

Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I will see God,Whom I, on my part, shall behold for myself, And whom my eyes will see, and not another. My heart faints within me!
