冰出于谁的胎？天上的霜是谁生的呢？诸水坚硬如石头，深渊之面凝结成冰。

他们在以色列人面前逃跑。正在伯‧和仑下坡的时候，耶和华从天上降下大冰雹在他们身上，直降到亚西加，打死他们。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀杀死的还多。

暴风来自内宫，寒冷出于狂风。神嘘气成冰，凝结宽阔之水，

他降冰雹打坏他们的葡萄树，下寒霜打坏他们的桑树，将他们的牲畜交给冰雹，把他们的群畜交给闪电。

“你曾进入雪之库，或见过雹的仓吗？雪雹是我为灾难的时候，为打仗和战争的日子所预备。
