容我聲聞於上、有若馨香、視我舉手以拜、有若夕祭兮。

願我之禱告、如香煙達至主前、我舉手祈求、願主視為晚祭、

向主獻心禱。宛如薦馨香。舉手抒仰慕。應同晚祭芳。

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

May my prayer come to you like the sweet smell of incense. When I lift up my hands in prayer, may it be like the evening sacrifice.

Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Take for yourself spices— stacte, onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; there shall be an equal part of each.You shall make incense from it all, a skillful mixture, the work of a perfumer, salted, pure, and holy.And you shall crush some of it very fine, and put part of it in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you.And the incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the Lord.Whoever makes any like it, to use as perfume, shall be cut off from his people.”

Hear the sound of my pleadings when I cry to You for help, When I raise my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch.

For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name shall be great among the nations, and in every place frankincense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name shall be great among the nations,” says the Lord of armies.

So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

according to the custom of the priestly office, he was chosen by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.And the whole multitude of the people were in prayer outside at the hour of the incense offering.

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.

Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on the fire and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them.And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.

The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.

Then everyone who was frightened by the words of the God of Israel on account of the unfaithfulness of the exiles gathered to me, and I sat appalled until the evening offering.

“ Then Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering which is for himself and make atonement for himself and for his household, and he shall slaughter the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.He shall take a firepan full of coals of fire from upon the altar before the Lord and two handfuls of finely ground sweet incense, and bring it inside the veil.He shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, so that the cloud of incense may cover the atoning cover that is on the ark of the testimony, otherwise he will die.

Fire also came out from the Lord and consumed the 250 men who were offering the incense.

And Moses said to Aaron,“ Take your censer and put fire in it from the altar, and place incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from the Lord, the plague has begun!”Then Aaron took it just as Moses had spoken, and he ran into the midst of the assembly; and behold, the plague had begun among the people. So he put on the incense and made atonement for the people.And he took his stand between the dead and the living, so that the plague was brought to a halt.
