神哪，求你傾聽我的禱告，不要不理睬我的懇求！求你留心聽、回應我！我在苦惱中煩躁不安，發出哀嘆；這是因仇敵的聲音、因惡人壓迫的緣故；是的，他們使壞事落在我身上，並在怒氣中逼迫我。

惡人窺伺義人，尋機置他於死地；但耶和華必不將他離棄在惡人的手中；在審判的時候，也不定他有罪。你當等候耶和華，謹守他的道路；他就高舉你，使你繼承地土；惡人被剪除的時候，你必看到。我曾看到惡人的強橫，像本地青翠的樹那樣蔓延；但他很快就消逝了，看哪，他不復存在！雖然我尋找他，卻找不到。你當留意純全的人，觀看正直的人，因為這些和平的人必有前途。但叛逆者都要被除滅，惡人的前途必遭斷絕。義人的拯救來自耶和華，他是他們在患難時的保障。耶和華幫助他們，搭救他們；他搭救他們脫離惡人，把他們拯救出來，因為他們投靠他。
