当时，耶和华把硫磺与火，从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉，

摩西向天伸杖，耶和华就打雷下雹，有火降到地上；耶和华下雹在埃及地上。那时，有雹，也有火在雹中闪烁，极其严重；自从埃及立国以来，全地没有像这样的。

第四位天使把碗倾倒在太阳上，使太阳可用火烤人。人被炎热所烤，就亵渎那有权掌管这些灾难的上帝的名，他们没有悔改，也没有把荣耀归给上帝。

又命令他军中的几个壮士，把沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌捆起来，扔在烈火的窑中。这三人穿着内袍、外衣、头巾和其他的衣服，被捆起来扔在烈火的窑中。因为王的命令紧急，窑又非常热，那抬沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的人都被火焰烧死。但是这三个人，沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌被捆绑着，掉进烈火的窑中。那时，尼布甲尼撒王惊奇，急忙站起来，对谋士说：“我们捆起来扔在火里的不是三个人吗？”他们回答王说：“王啊，是的。”王说：“看哪，我看见有四个人，并没有捆绑，在火中行走，也没有受伤；那第四个的相貌好像神明的儿子。”

凡名字没有记在生命册上的人，就被扔进火湖里。

背负流人血之罪的，必逃跑直到地府；愿无人帮助他！

诱惑正直人行恶道的，必掉在自己的坑里；惟有完全人必承受福分。
