他要向惡人密布網羅；有烈火、硫磺、熱風，作他們杯中的分。

就是勇士的利箭和羅騰木的炭火。

當時，耶和華將硫磺與火從天上耶和華那裏降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉，

摩西向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火閃到地上；耶和華下雹在埃及地上。那時，雹與火攙雜，甚是厲害，自從埃及成國以來，遍地沒有這樣的。

第四位天使把碗倒在日頭上，叫日頭能用火烤人。人被大熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災的神之名，並不悔改將榮耀歸給神。

又吩咐他軍中的幾個壯士，將沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌捆起來，扔在烈火的窰中。這三人穿着褲子、內袍、外衣，和別的衣服，被捆起來扔在烈火的窰中。因為王命緊急，窰又甚熱，那擡沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的人都被火焰燒死。沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌這三個人都被捆着落在烈火的窰中。那時，尼布甲尼撒王驚奇，急忙起來，對謀士說：「我們捆起來扔在火裏的不是三個人嗎？」他們回答王說：「王啊，是。」王說：「看哪，我見有四個人，並沒有捆綁，在火中遊行，也沒有受傷；那第四個的相貌好像神子。」

若有人名字沒記在生命冊上，他就被扔在火湖裏。

背負流人血之罪的，必往坑裏奔跑，誰也不可攔阻他。

丟在火爐裏；在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。」

誘惑正直人行惡道的，必掉在自己的坑裏；惟有完全人必承受福分。
