耶和華必使火炭落在惡人身上，烈火、硫磺和旱風是他們杯中的分。

你出現的時候，就要使他們像熾熱的火爐；耶和華必在他的震怒中吞滅他們，火必燒滅他們。

只是那些膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的和所有說謊的人，他們的分是在燒著硫磺的火湖裡。這就是第二次的死。”

神啊！你必使惡人墮入滅亡的深坑裡；流人血和行詭詐的人必活不到半世；至於我，我必倚靠你。

就是勇士的利箭，和羅騰木燒的炭火。

當時，耶和華就使硫磺與火，從天上耶和華那裡降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉；

摩西把手杖向天一伸，耶和華就打雷（“打雷”原文作“神的聲音”）下雹，有火落在地上；耶和華使冰雹降在埃及地上。那時有了冰雹，冰雹與火混雜在一起，十分嚴重；埃及全地自從建國以來，未曾有過這樣的冰雹。

第四位天使把碗倒在太陽上，太陽就得了能力，可以用火烤人。人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。

又吩咐他軍隊中幾個最精壯的士兵，把沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌綁起來，扔在烈火的窰中。於是這三個人穿著外袍、長褲、頭巾和身上其他的衣服，被綁起來，扔在烈火的窯中。由於王的命令緊急，窰又燒得非常猛烈，那些把沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌抬起來的人，都被火燄燒死了。而沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌這三個人仍被綁著，落入烈火的窰中。那時尼布甲尼撒王非常驚奇，急忙起來，問他的謀臣說：“我們綁起來扔在火裡的，不是三個人嗎？”他們回答王說：“王啊！是的。”王說：“但我見有四個人，並沒有綁著，在火中走來走去，也沒有受傷，並且那第四個的樣貌好像神子。”

凡是名字沒有記在生命冊上的，他就被拋在火湖裡。

背負流人血之罪的，必逃跑至死，人不可幫助他。

丟進火爐，在那裡必要哀哭切齒。

誘惑正直人走上邪路的，必掉在自己所挖的坑裡；完全人卻必承受福氣。
