You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

You know when I go out to work and when I come back home. You know exactly how I live.

You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.

You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.

You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.

Can a person hide in secret places where I cannot see him?”— the LORD’s declaration.“ Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?”— the LORD’s declaration.

He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber.Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep.The LORD protects you; the LORD is a shelter right by your side.The sun will not strike you by day or the moon by night.The LORD will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life.The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever.

Why, my son, would you lose yourself with a forbidden woman or embrace a wayward woman?For a man’s ways are before the LORD’s eyes, and he considers all his paths.

“ Ananias,” Peter asked,“ why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land?Wasn’t it yours while you possessed it? Woe to those who go to great lengths to hide their plans from the LORD. They do their works in the dark, and say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

For then you would count my steps but would not take note of my sin.My rebellion would be sealed up in a bag, and you would cover over my iniquity.

For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

One evening David got up from his bed and strolled around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing— a very beautiful woman.So David sent someone to inquire about her, and he said,“ Isn’t this Bathsheba, daughter of Eliam and wife of Uriah the Hethite?”David sent messengers to get her, and when she came to him, he slept with her. Now she had just been purifying herself from her uncleanness. Afterward, she returned home.The woman conceived and sent word to inform David,“ I am pregnant.”

His winnowing shovel is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn. But the chaff he will burn with fire that never goes out.”

Jesus replied to them,“ Didn’t I choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil.”He was referring to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, one of the Twelve, because he was going to betray him.

For you record bitter accusations against me and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.You put my feet in the stocks and stand watch over all my paths, setting a limit for the soles of my feet.

When the time of mourning ended, David had her brought to his house. She became his wife and bore him a son. However, the LORD considered what David had done to be evil.

When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in his spirit and testified,“ Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

Now when it was time for supper, the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, to betray him.
