我受造於暗中、被精製於地之深處、我之形骸、無隱於爾兮、

我在母胎、受造甚巧、骨骸潛長、皆爾所知兮、

我在暗中受造、在冥冥被聯絡、其時我之形體、未嘗隱於主、

胚胎母腹。主實甄之。魂魄潛結。主實成之。

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

None of my bones was hidden from you when you made me inside my mother’s body. That place was as dark as the deepest parts of the earth. When you were putting me together there,

My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

我的臟腑是你所造的，在我母腹中你塑造了我。

你不曉得風的路向，不知道骨頭如何在孕婦胎中形成，照樣，創造萬物之神的作為，你也不得而知。

但那些尋索我、要殺我的人，必下到地的深處。

你的手塑我造我，但一轉過來你就要毀滅我。求你記念你造我如摶泥，你還要使我歸於塵土嗎？你不是把我倒出來像倒奶，又使我凝結像乳酪凝固嗎？你以皮肉為衣給我穿上，以筋骨接絡我；

（“他升上”這句話是甚麼意思呢？他不是也曾降到地上嗎？

在埃及地所有頭生的都必死亡，就是從坐王位的法老的長子，直到推磨的婢女的長子，以及一切頭生的牲畜都必死亡。
