擊埃及之長子、以其慈惠永存兮、

戮埃及初生之子、矜憫恆懷兮、

擊殺伊及人之諸長子、主之恩慈、永遠常存、

【啟】懲創埃及。矜恤天民。【應】慈恩不匱。萬古和春。

to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God who killed the oldest son of each family in Egypt. His faithful love continues forever.

To Him who struck the Egyptians, that is, their firstborn, For His faithfulness is everlasting,

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:

to the one who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, for his loyal love endures,

to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever;

And it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the first- born in the land of Egypt, from the first- born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first- born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first- born of cattle.

Who smote the first- born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

And smote all the first- born in Egypt, The chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.

By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.

For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first- born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.

and all the first- born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first- born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first- born of the maid- servant that is behind the mill; and all the first- born of cattle.And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, nor shall be any more.

He smote also all the first- born in their land, The chief of all their strength.
