But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

But you forgive. So we can serve you with respect.

But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.

But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.

And I will cleanse them from all their wrongdoing by which they have sinned against Me, and I will forgive all their wrongdoings by which they have sinned against Me and revolted against Me.It will be to Me a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, which will hear of all the good that I do for them, and they will be frightened and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for it.’

Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

then hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive and act, and give to each in accordance with all his ways, whose heart You know— for You alone know the hearts of all mankind—so that they will fear You all the days that they live on the land which You have given to our fathers.

To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, because we have rebelled against Him;

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

For the sake of Your name, Lord, Forgive my wrongdoing, for it is great.

Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Bless the Lord, my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits;Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases;

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.”This expression,“ Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

“ Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.

Serve the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And favor to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

So the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing.

And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the Lord.Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are His;” and,“ Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”
