Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

Those who go out weeping as they carry seeds to plant will come back singing with joy. They will bring the new crop back with them.

He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Though one goes along weeping, carrying the bag of seed, he will surely come back with shouts of joy, carrying his sheaves.

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. The light has shined on those who lived in the land of the shadow of death.You have multiplied the nation. You have increased their joy. They rejoice before you according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the plunder.

to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified.

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

“ In those days, and in that time,” says Yahweh,“ the children of Israel will come, they and the children of Judah together; they will go on their way weeping, and will seek Yahweh their God.They will inquire concerning Zion with their faces turned toward it, saying,‘ Come, and join yourselves to Yahweh in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.’

“ If you set your heart aright, stretch out your hands toward him.If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away. Don’t let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.Surely then you will lift up your face without spot; Yes, you will be steadfast, and will not fear:for you will forget your misery. You will remember it like waters that have passed away.Life will be clearer than the noonday. Though there is darkness, it will be as the morning.

Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat;for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life- giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.”’“ He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’“ But the father said to his servants,‘ Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and sandals on his feet.Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let’s eat, and celebrate;for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate.

He called for lights, sprang in, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas,brought them out, and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”They said,“ Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house.He took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes, and was immediately baptized, he and all his household.He brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his household, having believed in God.
