耶和華兮、人設詭計、施厥妄言、加害我躬、爾其拯救兮、

主歟、救我脫離誑言之口、脫離詭詐之舌、

今日復求主。濟我於讒舌。

Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.

Lord, save me from people whose lips tell lies. Save me from people whose tongues don’t tell the truth.

Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.

I said,“ O LORD, rescue me from those who lie with their lips and those who deceive with their tongue.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death;and they found it not, though many false witnesses came. But afterward came two,and said, This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.And the high priest stood up, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

Unrighteous witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I know not.

Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: They have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.

Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; But they that deal truly are his delight.

Thy tongue deviseth very wickedness, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.Thou lovest evil more than good, And lying rather than to speak righteousness.[ SelahThou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.

Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders’ poison is under their lips.[ Selah
