I’m a friend to everyone who has respect for you. I’m a friend to everyone who follows your rules.

I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.

I am a friend to anyone who fears you— anyone who obeys your commandments.

Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“ I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”Therefore,“ Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.“ On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty,“ they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.

I say of the holy people who are in the land,“ They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”

Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!

Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me.
