牧伯坐而詆我、爾僕思爾典章兮、

牧伯坐於高位、加以譭謗、僕則思爾禮儀兮、

雖有侯伯坐而議論我、我仍默念主之典章、

權貴相逼。我惟守正。

Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.

Even if rulers sit together and tell lies about me, I will spend time thinking about your orders.

Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.

And the chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.And Herod with his soldiers set him at nought, and mocked him, and arraying him in gorgeous apparel sent him back to Pilate.

And the whole company of them rose up, and brought him before Pilate.And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Cæsar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king.
