More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.

For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a merchant seeking goodly pearls:and having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.
