It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.

It is better to go to the Lord for safety than to trust in mere human beings.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people.

It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.

This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the person who trusts in mankind. He makes human flesh his strength, and his heart turns from the LORD.He will be like a juniper in the Arabah; he cannot see when good comes but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one lives.The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.

Do not rely on a friend; don’t trust in a close companion. Seal your mouth from the woman who lies in your arms.Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.But I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before him. God is our refuge. SelahCommon people are only a vapor; important people, an illusion. Together on a scale, they weigh less than a vapor.
