施捨於人、借貸於人、按公義治事者、此人即為有福、

慷慨好施。扶弱抑強。

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.

If a poor man, one of your brothers, is with you within any of your gates in your land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother;but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, which he lacks.Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying,“ The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to Yahweh against you, and it be sin to you.You shall surely give, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because it is for this thing Yahweh your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to.

I went by the field of the sluggard, by the vineyard of the man void of understanding:Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.Then I saw, and considered well. I saw, and received instruction:a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep,so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.

A man void of understanding strikes hands, and becomes collateral in the presence of his neighbor.

A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, but he will condemn a man of wicked plans.

For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.

This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,
