The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Evil people will see it and be upset. They will grind their teeth and become weaker and weaker. What evil people long to do can’t succeed.

The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish!

“当你们看见亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和众先知在上帝的国，自己却被丢在门外，必要在那里哀哭切齿。

恶人谋害义人，对他们咬牙切齿。

恶人一死，他的希望就破灭，他对财势的冀望转眼成空。

愿他们如流水逝去，愿他们弯弓搭箭时箭头折断。愿他们像蜗牛一样溶为烂泥，又如流产的胎儿不见天日。

义人的憧憬带来欢乐，恶人的希望终必破灭。

求你赐下恩待我的凭据，使那些恨我的人见状就抱愧蒙羞，因为你耶和华帮助我、安慰我。

他在阴间受折磨，抬头远远地看见亚伯拉罕和他身边的拉撒路，就喊着说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！求你可怜我，派拉撒路用指尖蘸点水来润润我的舌头吧！我在这火中实在痛苦不堪。’“亚伯拉罕说，‘孩子啊！你要想想，你生前享福，而拉撒路受苦；如今他在这里得到安慰，而你受折磨。况且，在你我中间隔着一道深渊，这边的人不能到你那边去，你那边的人也不能到这里来。’

第五位天使将碗倒在那海中怪兽的座位上，它的国便被黑暗笼罩，它的国民痛苦难当，咬自己的舌头。他们因为痛苦和毒疮就亵渎天上的上帝，不肯为自己的所作所为悔改。

忘记上帝的人，结局也是如此；不信上帝的人，盼望终必破灭。

但那些本应承受天国的人反会被赶出去，在黑暗里哀哭切齿。”

所以主耶和华说：“看啊，我的仆人必有吃有喝，你们却要饥渴交加；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却要受羞辱；我的仆人必欢喜快乐，扬声歌唱，你们却要伤心欲绝，嚎啕大哭。

王便吩咐侍从，‘把他手脚绑起来丢到外面的黑暗里，让他在那里哀哭切齿。’”

于是，哈曼将袍子给末底改穿上，让他骑着马在城中的广场上游行，并在他前面宣告：“王愿意赏识谁，就会这样待他。”之后，末底改回到宫门那里，哈曼却悲伤地蒙着头匆匆回家去了。
