He will rain coals of fire upon the wicked, And brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.

電光閃兮硫火降、災飆發兮報施不爽、

主將網羅、烈火、硫磺、熱風、降於惡人之身、此乃惡人當得之報、

賢良蒙鍛鍊。所以玉其成。惟彼兇與暴。乃為主所憎。

On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

He will pour out flaming coals and burning sulfur on those who do what is wrong. A hot and dry wind will destroy them.

Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.

Let him rain burning coals and sulfur on the wicked; let a scorching wind be the portion in their cup.

Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their cup.

Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

May the LORD rain down burning coals and brimstone on the wicked! A whirlwind is what they deserve!

“ This is the portion of a wicked person from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty:Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; And his descendants will not be satisfied with bread.His survivors will be buried because of the plague, And their widows will not be able to weep.Though he piles up silver like dust, And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay,He may prepare it, but the righteous will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.He has built his house like the spider’s web, Or a hut which the watchman has made.He lies down rich, but never again; He opens his eyes, and it no longer exists.Terrors overtake him like a flood; A storm steals him away in the night.The east wind carries him away, and he is gone; For it sweeps him away from his place.For it will hurl at him without mercy; He will certainly try to flee from its power.People will clap their hands at him, And will whistle at him from their places.

When he fills his belly, God will send His fierce anger on him And rain it on him while he is eating.

And Samuel said to the cook,“ Serve the portion that I gave you about which I said to you,‘ Set it aside.’ ”

Pull yourself up! Pull yourself up! Arise, Jerusalem! You who have drunk from the Lord’s hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of staggering you have drunk to the dregs.

You will be filled with disgrace rather than honor. Drink, you yourself, and expose your own foreskin! The cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you, And utter disgrace will come upon your glory.

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, am I not to drink it?”

At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem,“ A scorching wind from the bare heights in the wilderness, in the direction of the daughter of My people— not to winnow and not to cleanse,a wind too strong for this— will come at My command; now I will also pronounce judgments against them.”

Then he took portions to them from his own table, but Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as any of theirs. So they drank freely with him.

When the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he would give portions to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters;

The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot.

So Moses reached out with his staff toward the sky, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt.So there was hail, and fire flashing intermittently in the midst of the hail, which was very heavy, such as had not occurred in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
