於是，他們在患難中呼求耶和華，耶和華就拯救他們脫離困境。

他們在危難中呼求耶和華，祂就拯救他們脫離困境，

我向祂禱告，祂便應允我，救我脫離一切恐懼。凡仰望祂的必有榮光，不致蒙羞。我這可憐的人向祂呼求，祂就垂聽，救我脫離一切困境。

直到上帝擊殺他們的時候，他們才回轉，誠心尋求上帝。他們才想起上帝是他們的磐石，至高的上帝是他們的救贖主。

耶和華啊，我向你呼求，懇求你憐憫，說：「耶和華啊，我被毀滅、落入墳墓有何益處？我歸於塵土，還能讚美你、宣揚你的信實嗎？耶和華啊，求你垂聽我的呼求，憐憫我！耶和華啊，求你幫助我！」你把我的哀哭變成了舞步，為我脫下悲傷的麻衣，披上喜樂的外袍，好叫我從心底歌頌你，不致默然無聲。我的上帝耶和華啊，我要永遠向你感恩！

『你呼求我，我就回應你，並且把你不知道的偉大、奧妙之事告訴你。

於是，我求告耶和華，說：「耶和華啊，求你拯救我。」耶和華仁慈、公義，我們的上帝充滿憐憫。耶和華保護心地單純的人，危難之時祂救了我。我的心啊，再次安寧吧，因為耶和華恩待你。祂救我的性命脫離死亡，止住我眼中的淚水，使我雙腳免於滑倒。

於是，他們在患難中呼求耶和華，耶和華便拯救他們脫離困境。
