When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought to your miracles; they did not remember your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.

When our people were in Egypt, they forgot about the Lord’ s miracles. They didn’t remember his many kind acts. At the Red Sea they refused to obey him.

他們不記念他手的能力，不記念他救贖他們脫離敵人的日子。

並且使用一切不義的詭計，因為他們不接受那能使他們得救的真理之愛。為此，神就把一種迷惑人的力量送進他們裡面，使他們相信虛假之事，好使所有不相信真理而喜悅不義的人，都被定罪。

這樣的人不明白，也不領悟，因為耶和華蒙蔽他們的眼使他們不能看見，蒙蔽他們的心使他們不能明悟。

我要提說耶和華的慈愛和對他的讚美，就是照著耶和華所賜給我們的一切，並他因憐憫和豐盛的慈愛所賜給以色列家的眾多美福。

這是為要使『他們看了又看，卻不明白，聽了又聽，卻不領悟，免得他們回轉過來，就被赦免。』」

為他們的緣故，記念自己的約，照著他豐盛的慈愛回心轉意；

他們忘掉了他所行的，以及他顯明給他們的奇妙作為。

他的僕人亞伯拉罕的後裔啊，他所揀選的雅各子孫哪，你們當記念他所行的奇妙作為，記念他的奇事和他口中的法規！

至於我，我要藉著你豐盛的慈愛，來到你的家；因著對你的敬畏，向你聖潔的殿下拜。

神哪，求你照著你的慈愛恩待我，照著你豐盛的憐憫抹掉我的過犯！

所以你們當記住：從前，你們照著肉體說是外邦人，被那些所謂「受割禮的」稱為「沒受割禮的」；割禮是人手在肉體上所行的。

耶穌知道了，就問他們：「你們為什麼討論沒有餅的事呢？你們還不明白，還不領悟，還是硬著心嗎？你們有眼睛卻看不見，有耳朵卻聽不見嗎？難道不記得嗎？當我掰開那五個餅給五千人的時候，你們收拾的碎塊裝滿了幾個籃子呢？」門徒們回答說：「十二個。」「那七個餅給四千人的時候，你們收拾的碎塊裝滿了幾個筐子呢？」門徒們回答說：「七個。」耶穌對他們說：「你們還不領悟嗎？」

「無知的人喜愛無知，譏諷者貪愛譏諷，愚昧人恨惡知識，要到什麼時候呢？
