空中飛鳥、棲止其旁、和鳴於樹枝之上、

飛鳥來集。巢於其林。相顧而樂。嚶嚶其鳴。

The trees of the Lord are well cared for— the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.There the birds make their nests, and the storks make their homes in the cypresses.

I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine.

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?

He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry.

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!
