A person often rebuked who becomes obstinate Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy.

‘ You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him.

One who rebukes a person will afterward find more favor Than one who flatters with the tongue.

and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Nathan then said to David,“ You yourself are the man! You have struck and killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, you have taken his wife as your wife, and you have slaughtered him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.Now then, the sword shall never leave your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’This is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight.Indeed, you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and in open daylight.’ ”Then David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David,“ The Lord also has allowed your sin to pass; you shall not die.However, since by this deed you have shown utter disrespect for the Lord, the child himself who is born to you shall certainly die.”

Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;and they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying,“ The land which we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.If the Lord is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us— a land which flows with milk and honey.Only do not rebel against the Lord; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey. Their protection is gone from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then the glory of the Lord appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.

They informed the king, saying,“ Nathan the prophet is here.” And when he came into the king’s presence, he prostrated himself before the king with his face to the ground.

Then King David said,“ Summon to me Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada.” And they came into the king’s presence.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy anything good regarding me, but only bad. He is Micaiah the son of Imlah.” But Jehoshaphat said,“ May the king not say so.”

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.For prior to the coming of some men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and separate himself, fearing those from the circumcision.The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all,“ If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?
