Bread obtained by a lie is sweet to a person, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel.

Do not look at wine when it is red, When it sparkles in the cup, When it goes down smoothly;In the end it bites like a snake And stings like a viper.

This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, And says,“ I have done no wrong.”

But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.
