Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips[ shall be] right things.

你們當聽，因我要說尊貴的事，我要張開嘴唇講正直的事。

你們聽啊，我要說美好的話，開口談論正直的事。

你們聽著，因為我要講論極美的事，我要開口說正直的事；

你們要聽，因為我要講對的事；我的嘴脣要說出正直的事。

你們當聽！因為我要講高貴的事，要張嘴說公平的事；

我言殊善、啟口皆正、爾其聽之、

我所言者、善也義也、尚其聽從。

我啟口所言、乃至善至正、爾其聽之、

Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right.

Listen! I have things to say that you can depend on. I open my lips to speak what is right.

Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right,

Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you. Everything I say is right,

Listen, for I speak of noble things, and what my lips say is right.

Listen, for I will speak noble things; And the opening of my lips will reveal right things.

Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips will come right things;

Hear, for I will speak excellent things; And the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:For he taught them as[ one] having authority, and not as the scribes.

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth[ cometh] knowledge and understanding.He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:[ he is] a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.My words[ shall be of] the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart[ shall be] of understanding.

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,Blessed[ are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed[ are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.Blessed[ are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.Blessed[ are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.Blessed[ are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.Blessed[ are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.Blessed[ are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.Blessed[ are] they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are ye, when[ men] shall revile you, and persecute[ you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great[ is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.For they[ are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

The law of the LORD[ is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD[ is] sure, making wise the simple.The statutes of the LORD[ are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD[ is] pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the LORD[ is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD[ are] true[ and] righteous altogether.More to be desired[ are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.Moreover by them is thy servant warned:[ and] in keeping of them[ there is] great reward.

Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

[ Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery,[ even] the hidden[ wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
