So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;

Oh, that you were like my brother, Who nursed at my mother’s breasts! If I should find you outside, I would kiss you; I would not be despised.

Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.

And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said,“ Here are My mother and My brothers!For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

If I say to corruption,‘ You are my father,’ And to the worm,‘ You are my mother and my sister,’

And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him,“ Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!”But He said,“ More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
