He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.

He will restore that for which he labored, and will not swallow it down. He will not rejoice according to the substance that he has gotten.

But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
