恐怕外人满得你的力量，你劳碌得来的，归入外人的家；

免得陌生人满得你的财富，你劳苦所得的归入外邦人的家。

免得外人吞尽你的财富，你的辛劳所得归给他人。

免得外人饱享你的财物，你劳碌得来的归入别人的家。

免得别人满得你的力量，你的劳苦所得就归入外人的家。

資財充於外人、辛勞歸於他家、

於是爾之貨財為人所得、爾之物產為人所有、

恐爾之貨財為外人所得、爾劬勞所獲者、在他人之家、

lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich the house of another.

Strangers will consume your wealth, and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor.

Lest aliens be filled with your wealth, And your labors go to the house of a foreigner;

strangers will drain your resources, and your earnings will end up in a foreigner’s house.

Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours[ be] in the house of a stranger;

lest strangers devour your strength, and your labor benefit another man’s house.

He won’t accept any payment. He won’t take any money, no matter how much he is offered.

People from other lands make them weaker and weaker. But they don’t realize it. Their hair is becoming gray. But they don’t even notice it.

Don’t waste your strength on women. Don’t waste it on those who destroy kings.
