Don’t envy evil people or desire their company.

Don’t be surprised if you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and if justice is being miscarried throughout the land. For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice get lost in red tape and bureaucracy.

Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong.

Don’t envy sinners, but always continue to fear the Lord.

envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper— it only leads to harm.For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.

Don’t rob the poor just because you can, or exploit the needy in court.For the Lord is their defender. He will ruin anyone who ruins them.Don’t befriend angry people or associate with hot tempered people,or you will learn to be like them and endanger your soul.

For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness.
