市之愈白金、得之愈黃金、

積智慧勝於積銀、智慧利大、勝於精金、

for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

Wisdom pays better than silver does. She earns more than gold does.

for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.

For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.

For her profit is better than the profit of silver, And her produce better than gold.

For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold.

For the merchandise of it[ is] better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold.

For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.

Get wisdom— how much better it is than gold! And get understanding— it is preferable to silver.

My fruit is better than solid gold, and my harvest than pure silver.

For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life?

I have your decrees as a heritage forever; indeed, they are the joy of my heart.

No one can know its value, since it cannot be found in the land of the living.The ocean depths say,“ It’s not in me,” while the sea declares,“ I don’t have it.”Gold cannot be exchanged for it, and silver cannot be weighed out for its price.Wisdom cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx or lapis lazuli.Gold and glass do not compare with it, and articles of fine gold cannot be exchanged for it.Coral and quartz are not worth mentioning. The price of wisdom is beyond pearls.Topaz from Cush cannot compare with it, and it cannot be valued in pure gold.

Accept my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.For wisdom is better than jewels, and nothing desirable can equal it.

Instruction from your lips is better for me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,

I rejoice over your promise like one who finds vast treasure.

God said to Solomon,“ Since this was in your heart, and you have not requested riches, wealth, or glory, or for the life of those who hate you, and you have not even requested long life, but you have requested for yourself wisdom and knowledge that you may judge my people over whom I have made you king,wisdom and knowledge are given to you. I will also give you riches, wealth, and glory, unlike what was given to the kings who were before you, or will be given to those after you.”

More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

I advise you to buy from me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread on your eyes so that you may see.
