人得智慧、則蒙綏祉、

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,

Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.

Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding,

Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding.

Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding,

But there was found in it a poor, wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that poor man.But I say that wisdom is better than might, though the poor man’s wisdom is despised and his words are not heard.The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools.Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.

Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you.The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”

“ And now, O sons, listen to me: blessed are those who keep my ways.Hear instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it.Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors.For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord,

Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.

Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.

if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,

Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions.She came to Jerusalem with a very great retinue, with camels bearing spices and very much gold and precious stones. And when she came to Solomon, she told him all that was on her mind.And Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king that he could not explain to her.And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, their clothing, his cupbearers, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of the Lord, there was no more breath in her.And she said to the king,“ The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom,but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report that I heard.Happy are your men! Happy are your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel! Because the Lord loved Israel forever, he has made you king, that you may execute justice and righteousness.”
