那找到智慧、獲得聰慧的人，是蒙福的！

城中有一個貧寒的智慧人，他用智慧救了那城；然而沒有人記念那個貧寒人。我就說：「智慧勝過武力」，但那個貧寒人的智慧被人輕視，他的話語也沒有人再聽從。聽智慧人安靜的言語，勝過聽管轄者在愚昧人中的喊叫。智慧勝過戰鬥的武器，但一個罪人能毀了許多好事。

你要獲得智慧，獲得悟性；不要忘記、也不要偏離我口中的言語。你不要離棄智慧，她就會保守你；你要愛她，她就守護你。智慧是首要的，你要獲得智慧；要用你所得的一切獲得悟性！你當尊崇智慧，她就高舉你；你擁抱她，她就使你得尊榮，她必將恩惠的花冠戴在你的頭上，把榮耀的冠冕給予你。」

孩子們哪，現在你們當聽從我！那些謹守我道路的，是蒙福的！你們要聽從管教、要有智慧，不要忽視它。那聽從我、在我的門旁天天警醒、在我的門柱邊守候的人，是蒙福的！要知道，找到我的，就找到生命，他也從耶和華蒙了恩典；

孤僻離群的，只求自己的願望；他抗拒一切真知。

尋求她如同尋求銀子，搜尋她如同搜尋寶藏；
