The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength.

A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might,

The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.

A wise warrior is better than a strong one, and a man of knowledge than one of strength;

A wise man is strong, And a person of knowledge increases power.

智慧使一個智者比城裡十個官長更有能力。

智者攀上勇士的城池，摧毀他們倚仗的堅壘。

耶和華的道保護正直人，毀滅作惡之人。

願上帝以祂榮耀的權能使你們剛強，無論遇到什麼事都能長久忍耐，

但仰望耶和華的人必重新得力。他們必像鷹一樣展翅高飛，他們奔跑也不困倦，他們行走也不疲乏。

他們越走越有力，都要到錫安朝見上帝。

有一個勢力強大的君王來攻擊一個人口不多的小城，他建造營壘圍困這城。這城裡有一個貧窮的智者，他用智慧拯救了這城，但事後人們卻把他遺忘了。我認為智慧勝過武力，然而那位窮人的智慧卻被輕視，他所說的話也無人理會。智者的細語勝過官長在愚人中的喊叫。智慧勝過兵器，但一個罪人卻能破壞許多善事。

我有謀略和真知，又有悟性和能力。
