乳香來自示巴、菖蒲至自遠方、而獻於我、果何益哉、爾之燔祭、我不納之、爾之素祭、我不悅之、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、

我不因爾祭品而加責、爾之燔祭、恆在我前兮、不取牡牛於爾家、不取山羊於爾牢兮、叢林百獸、千山羣畜、悉屬我兮、山嶽之禽、皆我所知、原野之獸、為我所有兮、我若飢、不告爾、世界與充其中者、咸屬我兮、我豈食牡牛之肉、飲山羊之血乎、

惟所獲當滅之牛羊、民取其嘉者、欲在吉甲、以祭爾上帝耶和華、撒母耳曰、耶和華豈喜燔祭及他祭、如喜聽其言乎、夫順服愈於祭祀、聽從愈於羊脂、違逆與卜筮同罪、頑梗與拜偶像事家神同科、爾棄耶和華命、耶和華亦棄爾、不使為王、

耶和華曰、爾獻祭品眾多、與我何與、牡羊之燔祭、肥畜之脂膏、我已厭之、犢血羔血、與牡山羊之血、我不悅之、爾來覲我、踐我院宇、誰命之者、虛有之禮物、勿復獻之、馨香我所憎、月朔安息集會為可惡、作惡而守肅會、我不容之、爾之月朔節期、我心惡之、以為重負、倦於擔荷、爾舉手、我則掩目、爾多禱、我不俯聽、爾手盈以血也、爾其洗滌自潔、去爾惡行於我目前、

轉耳不聽法律者、即其祈禱、亦為可憎、

我寄名之室、爾乃視為盜穴乎、耶和華曰、我鑒之矣、可往示羅、昔我寄名之所、視我為我民以色列邪惡、所行之事、

爾之節期、我厭惡之、爾之肅會、我不悅之、爾雖獻燔祭素祭、我不悅納、爾肥牲之酬恩祭、我不垂顧、

則曰、非利士人必至吉甲攻我、而我未求耶和華恩施、故我強獻燔祭、撒母耳曰、爾所為者愚也、不遵爾上帝耶和華所命、如其遵之、則耶和華必在以色列中、堅爾國祚、歷久弗替、
