Do not say,“ I will repay evil”; wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you.

Don’t say,“ I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.

Don’t say,“ I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the LORD, and he will rescue you.

Do not say,“ I will recompense evil”; Wait for the Lord, and He will save you.

Say not thou, I will recompense evil: Wait for Jehovah, and he will save thee.

Don’t say,“ I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the Lord, and He will rescue you.

Never repay evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all people.If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written:“ Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.

Do not say,“ I shall do the same to him as he has done to me; I will repay the person according to his work.”

not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you would inherit a blessing.

One who returns evil for good, Evil will not depart from his house.

Vengeance is Mine, and retribution; In due time their foot will slip. For the day of their disaster is near, And the impending things are hurrying to them.’

and while being abusively insulted, He did not insult in return; while suffering, He did not threaten, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;

But I say to you, do not show opposition against an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other toward him also.

Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Perhaps the Lord will look on my misery and return good to me instead of his cursing this day.”

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.

Wait for the Lord and keep His way, And He will exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are eliminated, you will see it.

The Lord is good to those who await Him, To the person who seeks Him.It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the Lord.
