for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

He guards the path of those who are honest. He watches over the way of his faithful ones.

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.

Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling.

And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

The Lord protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.

They have made God’s law their own, so they will never slip from his path.

I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice.

I will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness,‘ Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.They will neither hunger nor thirst. The searing sun will not reach them anymore. For the Lord in his mercy will lead them; he will lead them beside cool waters.

Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.

Indeed, he loves his people; all his holy ones are in his hands. They follow in his steps and accept his teaching.

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.

For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

“ There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor.The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out,‘ Destroy them!’So Israel will live in safety, prosperous Jacob in security, in a land of grain and new wine, while the heavens drop down dew.How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”

My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them,for they will refresh your soul. They are like jewels on a necklace.They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble.You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.

For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die.

The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
