救你脫離惡人的道，脫離言談乖謬的人。

援爾於惡者之道、脫出詞乖謬之人、

免為惡人忤逆者所誘、

救爾於惡道、救爾脫於言辭乖戾之人、

Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,

Wisdom will save you from the ways of evil men. It will save you from men who twist their words.

delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,

Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.

It will rescue you from the way of evil— from anyone who says perverse things,

To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of evil, From the men that speak perverse things;

rescuing you from the way of evil— from the one who says perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of the evil[ man], from the man that speaketh froward things;

to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,

Do not be deceived:“ Bad company corrupts good morals.”

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride, arrogance, the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate.

Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.“ And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.

One who walks with wise people will be wise, But a companion of fools will suffer harm.

I do not sit with deceitful people, Nor will I go with pretenders.I hate the assembly of evildoers, And I will not sit with the wicked.

As for the works of mankind, by the word of Your lips I have kept from the ways of the violent.My steps have held to Your paths. My feet have not slipped.

A perverse person spreads strife, And a slanderer separates close friends.A person of violence entices his neighbor And leads him in a way that is not good.He who winks his eyes does so to devise perverse things; He who compresses his lips brings evil to pass.

Do not enter the path of the wicked And do not proceed in the way of evil people.Avoid it, do not pass by it; Turn away from it and pass on.For they cannot sleep unless they do evil; And they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence.

For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.

and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them.

For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with wrongdoing; Your lips have spoken deceit, Your tongue mutters wickedness.No one sues righteously and no one pleads honestly. They trust in confusion and speak lies; They conceive trouble and give birth to disaster.They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; The one who eats of their eggs dies, And from what is crushed, a snake breaks out.

Abandon your foolishness and live, And proceed in the way of understanding.”

A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil.

Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness With people who do wrong; And may I not taste their delicacies.

My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent.If they say,“ Come with us, Let’s lie in wait for blood, Let’s ambush the innocent without cause;Let’s swallow them alive like Sheol, Even whole, like those who go down to the pit;We will find all kinds of precious wealth, We will fill our houses with plunder;Throw in your lot with us; We will all have one money bag,”My son, do not walk on the way with them. Keep your feet from their path,For their feet run to evil, And they are quick to shed blood.Indeed, it is useless to spread the baited net In the sight of any bird;But they lie in wait for their own blood; They ambush their own lives.Such are the ways of everyone who makes unjust gain; It takes away the life of its possessors.
