Both their hands are equally skilled at doing evil! Officials and judges alike demand bribes. The people with influence get what they want, and together they scheme to twist justice.

What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars,signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye, a nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers.Their perverted hearts plot evil, and they constantly stir up trouble.

For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes— so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.’

All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.

People who wink at wrong cause trouble, but a bold reproof promotes peace.
