The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the hearts of fools are not upright.

And further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man’s foundation;but, as it is written, They shall see, to whom no tidings of him came, And they who have not heard shall understand.
