A scoffer seeks wisdom, and doesn’t find it, but knowledge comes easily to a discerning person.

亵慢人寻智慧，却寻不着；聪明人易得知识。

傲慢人枉寻智慧；聪明人易得知识。

傲慢人枉寻智慧；聪明人易得知识。

嘲讽者徒然寻智慧，明哲人轻易得知识。

好讥笑人的寻找智慧，却寻不着；聪明人寻找知识，却轻易得着。

讥讽者寻求智慧却得不到；有悟性的人轻易得知识。

褻慢人尋智慧，卻尋不着；聰明人易得知識。

傲慢人枉尋智慧；聰明人易得知識。

嘲諷者徒然尋智慧，明哲人輕易得知識。

好譏笑人的尋找智慧，卻尋不著；聰明人尋找知識，卻輕易得著。

侮慢者求智弗獲、明哲者知識易得、

侮慢者、求智而不能、明哲者、學道而易得。

侮慢者求智不得、明哲者易得知識、

The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.

Those who make fun of others look for wisdom and don’t find it. But knowledge comes easily to those who understand what is right.

A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding.

A mocker seeks wisdom and never finds it, but knowledge comes easily to those with understanding.

A mocker seeks wisdom and doesn’t find it, but knowledge comes easily to the perceptive.

A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy for one who has understanding.

A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it, But knowledge is easy to him who understands.

A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not; But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding.

A mocker seeks wisdom and doesn’t find it, but knowledge comes easily to the perceptive.

A scorner seeketh wisdom, and[ findeth it] not: but knowledge[ is] easy unto him that understandeth.

The scorner seeks wisdom but finds none, but understanding is easy for a discerning person.

He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Wisdom is before the face of one who has understanding, but the eyes of a fool wander to the ends of the earth.

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.

knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lustsand saying,“ Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”For this they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,“ He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”

The wise men are disappointed. They are dismayed and trapped. Behold, they have rejected Yahweh’s word. What kind of wisdom is in them?

Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law.

A fool has no delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own opinion.

Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for your commandments are always with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than the aged, because I have kept your precepts.

“ The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light.But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four- footed animals, and creeping things.Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know.

but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn’t arrive at the law of righteousness.Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.
